Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit prioritizes scientific research as it offers a solid knowledge and practice base to develop initiatives and projects that serve the Vision. It seeks to build partnership with researchers, experts and creative thinkers, and open the door for them to contribute to achieving Oman Vision 2040 with their research and studies.

Terms and conditions for general diploma and bachelor’s holders

  • The scientific content must be related to topics that serve the Oman Vision 2040, its requirements, and its directions.
  • The research topic should be connected to the priorities and goals of the vision and offer practical solutions to implementation challenges.
  • The research should have an applied nature, avoiding purely theoretical research (discussing a specific theory or scientific term).
  • The scientific content must be relevant to recent scientific developments that will contribute to accelerating the implementation of Oman Vision 2040 priorities.

  • The scientific content must be original and not copied from other sources without clearly citing the original source.
  • The scientific information provided must be accurate, reliable, and based on credible scientific references.
  • The scientific content must be objective, neutral, and free from personal biases.
  • The source of the scientific content must be clearly cited, including the author's name, the title of the research, and the date of publication.

In the case of obtaining a patent, please attach proof of it with the scientific content.

  • The scientific content must be written in either Arabic or English.
  • The applicant, researcher, or publisher may translate the scientific content into a language other than the original language.

  • The researcher or publisher must register on the platform before submitting their scientific content.
  • All scientific contributions are subject to scientific review by experts in the field before being published on the platform.
  • The researcher or publisher must grant the platform a non-exclusive license to publish the scientific content on the platform.
  • The platform reserves the right to delete any scientific content that does not comply with these guidelines.
  • Omanis and residents can submit their research through the platform.
  • If the research has not been published in a peer-reviewed journal or conference, the platform team has the right to request modifications to the scientific content before publishing it on the platform.

Note: the paper can be used as a reference in preparing internal studies in the Unit, or shared with other entities, without reference to the owner.
